Innovative way to save up....anyone???

This last week was a crazy week for me. Let me just say its great that its all over. The residence was crazy busy with St Patty's day celebrations. Anyways, thats not really what i wanted to rant on about.


Well, over the last week, i finalized my plans to buy a car off of a friend. A lot of my friends are having mixed feelings over me buying the car off of that friend. I have looked  at the car, and personally it looks fine, but ofcourse i need some expert input, on whether to go ahead with the purchase. Either way, I need to come up with an innovative way to save up the sum that i need. As a side note, check out this cute piggy bank.

As much as the money that it would take to fill this piggy bank would not even contribute a quarter to this investment, i think i would do with such a cute addition...lol! Girls love cute things!! lol!

Does anyone have any innovative, practical ways to save up over a short period of time???
